Nikolaustag :-)

Hello stitchers :-)
today is Dec 6th, that means, today is Nikolaustag. St. Nicholas brings little presents to little kids and adults who still wants to be kids *lol*. Kids have to clean their shoes the night before the 6th and when they were nice and cleaned their shoes they will find some gifts in their shoes.
Good children receive treats - candies, little presents, cookies, apples and nuts, while naughty children receive switches, wood  or lumps of coal. Today - especially in families of German extraction - children still put a shoe outside their bedroom doors on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day, and expect to find candy or small gifts in their shoe on December 6th.

So, today I also have a little present for you all (aren't we all kids in our hearts?)

I hope you like it :-)  Please don't swap it! Hurry, the pattern will be deleted Dec.7th. Of course all followers of the blog can ask for the pattern after the 6th of Dec.

Enjoy Stitching!

Hugs
Sandra
